Bilingual education shouldn’t be taken away out of fear that it will overturn our national language. They should keep it to enhance all students’ education.

It's good to have children compete because most kids will compete with each other naturally so it's better to have them compete in an organized environment. Also organized sports gets kids outside to exercise which a lot of kids these days don't do and is a major reason for obesity.

Tom Wolley 1st year

This person shared much of the same views of which I have. I really liked the point of getting kids to exercise I will use that point in my essay.

Sereya shorter - freshman

-She agrees with the fact that torture is ghastly and should not be used by the military.

reasons
- torture leaves victims with psychological after effects
-torture is not a very productive way to acquire information - inaccurate and unsuccesful

This person had the same views as mine. I didn't get any new point.

Torture is an inhumane act of both physical and mental violence. Only thing left behind toture is nothing but neverending pain and misery.

I support that the gay and lesbian community should have gay marriage and gay rights. I think that homosexuals have a right to be married because they are human beings and human rights have no gender.

Evelyn,Freshman

This person's response does match up with my position and while I was interviewing this person she did give a great example about how when a gay couple are married and the one in the relationship who is making the most money dies they spouse does not get the money as opposed to a heterosexual relationship where the spouse does. This is one point that I am considering using in my essay to elaborate my view on the position more.

She doesn't believe that even though men could potentially have children, they should not be considered female. Also, she believes this should not affect gay rights.

Christine Rolan, Freshman

I partly agree with her response and she did pose some compelling arguments.

Christopher, 18yrs old, Freeshman.

WHAT IS YOUR POSITION ON THIS ISSUE?
yes, it does more harm than good

TWO REASONS WHY YOU TOOK THAT POSITION:
1) the competitiveness they learn can create competitiveness in things besides sports
2) i agree with that fact that it can put too much strain on the young child's body

Feliciana (first year)

Her view on torture was that she does not see anything wrong with it.
Reasons to support view

-A good tactic that should be used to receive valuable information
when a person is not cooperative
-Torture can be used to save thousands of innocent civilians at the
cost of one persons pain

Jerynn Brooks (first year)
Her view on torture was that she was strongly against it
Reasons to support her view

-It is morally wrong
-The information obtained after the torture can be invalid

melissa: 1st year
she agrees with the issue that more quizzes will helps students learn
more. She believes it woudl help her realize what she needs to study, and
will allow her to stop worrying so much about tests because she will also have points from quizzes.

This person's response was similar to mine, but she did offer new
supporting points. She offered that quizzes add points that will help
in the grading process.
